Hello Moose! I asked you in a different thread about how Gunny was doing. I think about him everytime I see a Dachshund. Hearing that he chased a chuck into it's domain and dispatched it with Glee really makes my day!! Give him big steak bone for me okay? Stay well my friend...

My first duty revolver issued to me was a brand new S&W 586. It served me well as a Deputy in the Detroit Area for years. I also used it in Statewide Police Combat Competition for many years.

I used to walk up & down the firing lines to see what e/one else was shooting... almost all S&W revolvers with 6 inch bbls (limit), mine was 4 in bbl, but I still won more often than not.

Dept wouldn't spring for the model 686 (Stainless).
